arrow Connecticut Quarter The Connecticut quarter is the last quarter issued in 1999 of the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters® Program series.

Connecticut was admitted into the Union on January 9, 1788 becoming our Nation’s 5th State. The quarter's design honors the "Charter Oak Tree".

The Charter Oak, a majestic white oak, was the hiding place for the Connecticut Charter during a heated discussion between the British representatives and the Connecticut governing body.
